The province announced a temporary pause on most residential evictions on April 8, 2021. The LTB continues to accept applications, hold hearings and issue eviction orders. The Landlord Tenant Board front counters remain closed to the public due to COVID-19.

COVID 19: Courts are currently not operating as usual. Do not go to court unless you have been told to attend. Ontarians can continue to access the justice system for urgent matters, including online. Consider online filing of civil claims, small claims, or family law matters and filing by email at the Superior Court of Justice or the Ontario Court of Justice.

New Case Management Masters Appointed to Superior Court of Justice
Attorney General Doug Downey announced the appointment of two new case management masters to the Superior Court of Justice, effective May 13, 2021.
